Deirdre Reads Publicly Jan. 27 in Manhattan

Join me if you can. This is part of the Women's / Trans' Open Mic at Bluestocking Bookstore. I'm one of two featured readers, we go on after the Open Mic which tends to last 45 minutes to an hour. (Feel free to bring something to read -- if you fit the bill.)

Here's a link to a Google map.

Here's the announcement:
Women's / Trans' Poetry Jam & Open Mike

Tuesday January 27th 7PM - 9PM

Feature Writers: Hadassah Hill & Deirdre Sinnott

Hadassah Hill [aka D'Luxe] is a stage veteran who creates multimedia theatre and soundscape, weaving narratives that ask the question: what is it about science that rules us? And why can't we have more fun with it? She'll be performing from her album Ice-9 and from her new Podcast, Choose Your Own Cast.

Through memoir and personal essays Deirdre Sinnott reveals the disturbing truths, outrageous behavior, and humbling circumstances that populate her off-kilter life.
